Older Adults

Because this group has different needs and interests from other members, several programs and services exist for our senior members to ensure they feel connected to the Temple.

Mondays @ the Temple:

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., each Monday, the Temple offers a variety of opportunities for older adults, including interesting speakers, exercise classes and time to shmooze.

The cost for each session is $2. For more details, or if you need or can offer a ride to the program, please leave your name and phone number on the Seniors’ Hotline (ext. 517), at the Temple.

Mondays @ the Temple, the synagogue’s flagship program for seniors, begins its 2011-2012 Read more »

Our seniors gathered together Monday for the last of our weekly sessions before the summer break and what a wonderful day it was. We listened (and joined in when we could) to a varied selection of songs sung by Sharon Smith accompanied by Jordan Klapman. Sharon and Jordan have become a tradition; back by popular demand, they have closed our program for the last 4 years. To add to the sense of community this group has created at Temple, Read more »

Celebrating Jack and Sybil Geller – Shabbat morning, June 25

Jack and Sybil

Years ago he lead the way for Jews straight into the heart of Toronto’s legal establishment. Read more »
