Shabbat Torah Study
Sat, 9:00am
The Wisdom of the Talmud
Starting October 15 and throughout the year, every Shabbat morning.
As the Rabbis interpreted the Bible and constructed a new Judaism for very different times, they thought deeply as to how Jews, all people really, ought best live to achieve the sense of being part of something larger – of community, of purpose, of God.
All beginners along with long-time learners – are welcome as we explore Rabbinic thinking on: our relationships with one another, friends, family, strangers; our relationship with God; how we use (or abuse) money, sexuality and work; how freedom and responsibility fit together; and the working out of our particularity and our broader humanity (the observance of ritual and of the Jewish calendar while living in the larger world).

Shabbat Services
Sat, 10:30am
Our rabbis and cantor lead the congregation in worship, assisted by a choir or the Holy Blossom Temple Singers, our lay choir made up of volunteers from our community. In this communal service, we welcome our new B'nei Mitzvah into the community, honour brides/grooms-to-be with an aufruf and celebrate other life-cycle and congregational events.
During the summer, and on occasional Shabbatot, our Shabbat Morning Services are held in the Youth Chapel, on the third floor.
